Education Concerts & Webcast
The NWS Education Concerts are designed to be an inspirational experience outside the classroom for students in grades 4-12. These thematic concerts introduce major orchestral works and composers to students from Miami-Dade and Broward counties. A study guide will be sent in advance to participating classes and round-trip bus transportation is provided free of charge. The duration of each concert is one hour.
In addition, NWS offers free, high-quality webcasts of our Education Concerts, which is a post-production recording of the concerts performed at the New World Center. Educators also can access a free study guide to assist you with preparing your students for the presentation.
Epstein Family Foundation MusicLab
New World Symphony (NWS) supports music education for Miami-Dade County students through the Epstein Family Foundation MusicLab program, an academic season residency program that brings the expertise of NWS Fellows directly into the classroom, providing hands-on learning in the field of music performance, alongside a variety of supportive activities for personal enrichment. Participating students perform and share the stage at the New World Center during the MusicLab Finale Concert in April.
Education Concerts & Webcast
Rehearsal Observations are available upon request for students in grades 5 and up. During rehearsals, students and community groups can view a working orchestra with internationally renowned conductors and soloists. Visiting groups will also have the opportunity to meet New World Symphony (NWS) Fellows and ask questions.
Stay tuned! Registration for Rehearsal Observations during the 2026-2027 season will be announced soon.
