Pennsylvania Avenue Garage 

1661 Pennsylvania Avenue

(Located between Pennsylvania Avenue and the New World Center; entrance to garage is located on Lincoln Lane, off Pennsylvania Ave.) 

Fee: $15 Event Parking for Miami Beach Residents 

Upon entering the garage, take a ticket from the automated attendant. Please take your ticket with you upon exiting your vehicle. Upon returning to the garage, use an automated kiosk to pay for parking, and use validated ticket to exit garage at automated exits. For your convenience, a pedestrian bridge to the New World Center is located on the third level. A garage office is located on the first floor level for assistance.

Please note: Beginning January 21, 2026, the City of Miami Beach parking garages will no longer accept cash as payment. They recommend paying with credit card or by phone using the Parkmobile payment app.

 

17th Street Garage 

1755 Meridian Ave 
Miami Beach, FL 33139 

(located on 17th between Meridian and Pennsylvania) 

Fee: $2/hr for Miami Beach Residents  

Upon entering the garage, take a ticket from the automated attendant. Please take your ticket with you upon exiting your vehicle. Upon returning to the garage, use an automated kiosk to pay for parking, and use validated ticket to exit garage at automated exits. For assistance, a garage office is located at the first floor level close to the 17th street exit.

For event days: Though the garage may appear closed, with cones in front of the entrance, be sure to show the guard your tickets or, if your tickets are at will-call, tell them that you are attending the New World Symphony concert and they will allow you to park in the garage. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and access will be granted as long as there are any parking spaces left within the garage.

The City of Miami Beach will offer handicapped validation at either of the garage offices, located on the first floors. For questions or assistance, please contact their offices at 305-673-PARK (7275).

As of April 2024, the City of Miami Beach is offering voluntary disabled parking registration exclusively for municipal parking spaces. Click here for more information. Starting May 1, those unregistered will be charged regular parking fees upon exiting garages.

PLEASE NOTE: The City of Miami Beach owns and operates the parking facilities adjacent to the New World Center. Parking rates, rules and hours are set by the City and subject to change.  

When using Uber, Lyft or another rideshare app to travel to New World Center for an event, please input the following address: 500 Lincoln Lane North, Miami Beach, FL 33139. From that drop-off spot, it's a short walk to the entrance of New World Center, which faces SoundScape Park. (Some apps incorrectly take users to a downtown Miami location when searching "New World Center." We recommend using the bold address above to avoid confusion.)

As you enter New World Center from the main entrance, you’ll pass through a security scanner. There is no need to empty your bags or pockets. Please have your tickets in hand when you arrive.  

If you leave the building at intermission or at any point during the performance, you will need to pass through the security check upon reentry.  

Guests entering through the second-floor bridge will encounter a similar check point.  

The scanners use low-frequency electro-magnetic technology, dynamic non-contact detection, and meet EMC electromagnetic radiation standards. The scanner does not harm humans, medical devices like pacemakers, pregnant women, kids or electronic devices. 

Weapons of any kind are not permitted at the New World Center. Some items may trigger a false alarm including laptops, tablets, some umbrellas, portable nursing pumps, etc. If you’re bringing any of these items with you to New World Center, please be prepared to hand them to a security guard before you pass through the scanner.  

All concertgoers must go through the security check before entering the building. Those unable to pass through the security gate will be checked by a security guard.

Subscribers can exchange tickets by phone, mail or in person at the Box Office for any other available performance, excluding special events. Your tickets must be received by the Box Office at least 24 hours before your subscription concert. If you are exchanging for higher-priced tickets, you will need to pay the difference. All New World Symphony ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds.

Lost or misplaced tickets can be easily replaced with reprinted tickets. Call the Box Office to arrange to have your reprinted tickets held for you at the Will Call window.

Children eight years of age or older are welcome at all New World Symphony performances. Our Concerts for Kids are programmed specifically for children aged four through nine, and our outdoor WALLCAST™ Concerts, may be attended by children and adults of all ages. Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the performance hall.

We understand that plans can change. Please call the Box Office at 305.673.3331 or email tickets@nws.edu to release your tickets. Patrons who return their tickets for resale receive a receipt for a tax deduction.
